Erica Herman, the golf icon Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, has dropped her lawsuit against him after acknowledging she was never sexually abused by him.

In court filings submitted to Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal, the former restaurant manager claimed that she “was never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods or any of his agents and it is her position that she never asserted a claim for such.”

Herman worked at the golfer’s restaurant, The Woods Jupiter in Florida, and dated Woods from 2017 to 2022.

She first filed a lawsuit to be released from the NDA, claiming she had been coerced into signing it when Woods started pursuing a sexual relationship with her.

However, according to People, she has now formally filed a notice to terminate her appeal against the NDA. On Tuesday, the court issued a judgement dismissing the appeal.

Hernan had first claimed that the Speak Out Act, which forbids the agreement in situations involving sexual harassment or violence, rendered the NDA unenforceable.
Hernan made the shocking claim that the 82-time PGA Tour winner had sexually abused her in her initial lawsuit to void the NDA, but she provided no specifics about the alleged abuse.

A judge then ruled in May that this meant the Act was not applicable to her NDA.

In her now abandoned appeal over the decision, Hernan’s attorney argued that Woods, ‘imposed an NDA on her as a condition to keep her job when she began having a sexual relationship with him.

A boss imposing different work conditions on his employee because of their sexual relationship is sexual harassment.’

In October, she filed an additional $30 million lawsuit against the Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust, the legal owner of his mansion in Hobe Sound where the two lived together.

After their split in October 2022, she claimed Woods had misled her into abandoning the $40 million Florida estate where they had lived for six years.

She claimed in the complaint, which was dropped in July, that once Woods “became disgruntled with their sexual relationship, he tricked her into leaving her home, locked her out, took her cash, pets, and personal possessions, and tried to strong-arm her into signing a different NDA.”

After being spotted together for the first time in October 2017 at the Presidents Cup in New Jersey, Woods and Herman dated for six years. They subsequently called it quits on October 13, 2022.
