CEAF Safe House- Lagos Nigeria
The Reality in Nigeria
According to data from Invictus Africa, there are only 21 officially recognized safe shelters for survivors of gender-based violence across Nigeria, a country with over 200 million people. This scarcity leaves many victims without access to safe spaces for recovery and healing.
Why This Safe House Matters
Our Safe House is more than a refuge—it will be a hub for healing, empowerment, and reintegration. Survivors will have access to:
• Counseling and therapy to address emotional trauma.
• Skills acquisition programs to rebuild their independence.
• Legal aid and advocacy through partnerships like ours with the Headfort Foundation.
• A supportive community to remind them that they are not alone.
